Poster Presentation |
|
An artistic way to put your technical imaginations on a poster in a concrete manner. The poster should be self prepared and must not contain any printed
text/picture. Poster should be prepared on A1 size sheet and pasted on a thermocol sheet. Abstract should be submitted in maximum 200 words on a single A4 size paper.

RULES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
(1) Poster abstract should be submitted in maximum 200 words on a single A4 size paper.
(2) Maximum two participants per poster will be allowed.
(3) Each poster should include title, participant’s names, postal address, E-mail address, contact number.
(4) Participants are advised to prepare poster according to selection criteria which are mentioned below.
- Choice of topic
- Technical Content
- Presentation
- Question and Answers
- Poster Format and Appearance
(5) Poster should be self prepared must not contain any printed text or picture.
(6) Poster must be prepared on A1-size sheet and pasted on thermocol sheet.
(7) Participants must submit their poster to concern faculty member 30-minutes before the time of poster presentation.

| Model Presentation |
|
An excellent way to put your thoughts into action in the form of working or partly working model. Participants have to submit an abstract in 200 words comprising of necessary description of model. A separate page may be appended for block diagrams, necessary figures and for commonly available equipment/apparatus/instrument etc. requirements, if necessary.

| Paper Presentation |
|
An event will look for students with an innate talent to present new ideas. The participants will have to make a presentation on the theme “Global Opportunities and Challenges for Students in Technical Education Stream”. The abstract should contain maximum 300 words. Paper should be sent in the IEEE two columns format.

|
An excellent methodology to enhance personality of students. Group discussion is a qualitative method to obtain in depth information on concepts & perceptions about given topic.

| On the Spot Event |
|
Registration for On the Spot Event would be on 7th October, 2009.
|

| General Guidelines |
- Competition is open for the students of recognized degree engineering, diploma engineering, MBA & MCA colleges.
- The participants should bring their identity card & ISTE Membership Card from their institute.
- Maximum 2 participants per event are allowed.
- Individual Registration fee is Rs. 150/- for ISTE student members and Rs. 200/- for Non-ISTE student members per event except ‘On the Spot Event’.
- Individual Registration fee is Rs. 50/- for On the Spot Event and Registration would be on 7th October, 2009.
- Registration fee will be accepted only through D.D. in favour of “ISTE Students’ Chapter, Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering, Visnagar”.
- Each Participant will be paid one way S.T. / 2nd class railway fare by the shortest route.
- Abstract of each entry should reach in both hard & soft copy on or before 30th September, 2009.
