Guided by the basic philosophy "JNANAM SARVATHRA SADHANAM" and with an aim of building Visnagar as a world class learning center, Sri, SANKALHCAND KALIDAS PATEL, Founder President, Nootan sarva Vidhyalaya Kelavani Mandal has converted tiny village into a modern learning center of the country.

Powered by the visionary leadership of Sri SANKALHCAND KALIDAS PATEL, Nootan sarva Vidhyalaya Kelavani Mandal today is a conglomerate with more than fifty educational Institutions.

Born as, one of the millions became one in millions. He is BHAGEERATHA who brought JNANA GANGA to this small town and made Visnagar a VIDYA KASHI.

Sri SANKALHCAND PATEL is a man of many dimensions. He is an Educationist, a social reformer, a philosopher, a great preacher and an able administrator. Above all a great philanthropist. All these have made him a Living Legend.

He is the source of Inspiration to all of us. His ideals and way of working are to be imbibed in everybody's life. He has a dream of making our country modern and strong by spreading intellectual spirituality. We at Sankalchand Patel college of engineering share his dream of making our BHARATH-MAHAAN.

Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering spreaded over 60.38 acres of land and situated in natural surroundings serves multiplicity of purposes due for an academic institution. It is a realization of a dream cherished long back and realized through collective efforts of a score of personalities. It is an expression of the feelings of awe and amiability towards the mankind in general and the people of Visnagar taluka in particular who have fully supported our efforts in co-operative sector and others for such a long time. It had always been my dream to construct one such academic complex offering a variety of high-tech courses in Visnagar itself so that the talented boys and girls of Gujarat region may not have to go outside our state in search of high-tech courses. I am very happy that my long cherished dream has finally been realized. It can also be put in terms of our genuine tribute to Late Shri Sankalchand K. Patel nicknamed "Karmavir" among the people of Visnagar taluka for his noble deeds of human service. Sankalchand Patel Sahakar Vidyadham is the presentation of the institutions managed by Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal, Visnagar in the changed trends of the modern world after globalization.

The year 1999 proved to be a landmark in the history of Visnagar when the trust started three higher technical and professional education institutions for the first time in Visnagar. The trust continuing its tireless efforts started other higher Technical and Professional courses in the following year and now it is a time when the vidhyadham has a cluster of institutions.

The trust has already constructed a new campus in 60.38 acres of land with all the state of the art facilities where Degree Engineering, Polytechnic and M.B.A & M.C.A.programmes have already been started.

All the colleges managed by the trust are approved by the competent and appropriate authorities at the state level as well as central level. All the institutions except Polytechnic College are affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Polytechnic College is affiliated to Technical Examination Board, Gujarat Sate.

Message from Principal

It gives me immense pleasure and pride to introduce to you the vibrant SPCE- Visnagar.

Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering – Visnagar, established in 1999 with initial intake 240, is a degree engineering college affiliated to Gujarat Technical University, Ahmedabad (GTU). Presently we run full-time degree programs with intake in Mechanical Engineering (120 intake), Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 intake), Electrical Engineering (60 intake), Civil Engineering (30 intake), Information Technology (60 intake) and Computer Engineering (90 intake) with the total intake of 480 seats at UG level. Besides undergraduate program the SPCE has also PG programs in 5 branches, three in Engineering (ME- CAD/CAM (18 seats), EE – Power Systems (18 Seats), EC – Wireless and Communication Technology (18 Seats), one each in MBA (60 Seats) and MCA (60 Seats) with total 174 seats. There are more than 180 teaching faculties and 75 non teaching staff members. There are 1900 UG & 342 PG students in the campus.

Since its inception the Institute has been continuously progressing and is committed to create a brand name for itself in its efforts to serve the country. The labs are well equipped as per requirement prescribed in the university syllabus and as per prescribed by AICTE. The institute has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties and supporting staffs, state of the art laboratory and workshop facilities, Computer facilities, round the clock Internet facilities, Transportation facilities, Library, air conditioned TechSAT hall, outdoor and indoor games, multi-gym, open air Theatre, food courts (Canteen), ATM & separate hostels for Boys and Girls on campus.

We, the SPCE is provide technologically advanced and intellectually inspiring environment of learning, research, creativity, innovation and professional activity. SPCE dedicates and commits to achieve, sustain and cultivate unmatched excellence in technical education. Also the Institute is dedicated to bring socio economic development and facilitate competency building in the north Gujarat region in particular and the state / nation in general. Here we strive to inculcate in them an ethical and moral value too.

Finally the SPCE is providing a platform to strive to create an enriching academic environment and nurture values and ethics where all people in SPCE are continually challenged and motivated to do their best possible work.
